Go you! You're not afraid to stand up for yourself, and you don't mind being a loner every once in a while.
You're pretty good about being attentive to other people - just 'cause you disagree with them doesn't mean that you step all over them. Make sure you keep up that fair, compassionate attitude. Just 'cause you're independent doesn't mean you have to be a jerk about it.
This is a great quality to have, but don't forget that you have people who care about you willing to listen and help out whenever you are feeling "not so" independent.
